President Truman, Address in New York City Before the United Nations Assembly, October 24, 1950. The President spoke at 11:30 a.m. In his opening remarks he referred to Nasrollah Entezam, President of the General Assembly, and Trygve Lie, Secretary General of the United Nations. The address was carried on a nationwide radio broadcast.
